GILBERT MUSINGS: Art Collected ...is my personal blog, an insight into my brain to what I find interesting, unique, thought provoking, funny, warped and beautiful. All can be considered a visual eye-candy collection.

Tidbits from my art & culture Blogzine Art Nectar << (yea, you can click it to check it out) and my dabblings in photography and artwork are peppered throughout.

Sick (awesome) poster for a sick (disturbing) movie, that I’m sick (crazy) enough to probably watch. Watched the first one and my mouth hung open for most of it.

Interesting Tune for a Horror Flick

Ghost Town - Betrayal

There is something about this tune that grows on you. It’s psychedelic lo-fi with a 60’s twist.

I picture sitting by a lake with a bunch of friends. A tire hanging from a tree, over the lake. Friends swinging into the water, enjoying a summer day….when all of a sudden out of the woods, comes three psycho inbred brothers who are wielding axes.

The terror that ensues, all goes down in slow motion. Only two of us survive and hightail it into the backwoods.

Rosemary’s Baby Movie Poster
Currently watching.
Trivia: Mia Farrow was married to Frank SInatra at the time. During filming Frank wanted her to quit the film and threatened to divorce her if she didn’t. Robert Evans (the Producer) told Mia she would become a star if she stayed and she was sure to win an Oscar. She listened to Robert Evans and stayed on the picture. Frank served her divorce papers a few weeks later.
Mia Farrow was snubbed by the Oscars, but she became a star because of the film.

Monster Horror Stickers
I remember when I used to collect stickers. I was about nine. But they weren’t like these. Just a tad bit more girly, like Hello Kitty, fruits with googly eyes, and ones that were fuzzy to touch. I would have loved to have kept that sticker album for nostalgic sake.
